Software Engineer Network Automation, WAN & Edge

Requirements

• Deep, hands-on WAN and edge networking experience
• Track record in external BGP designs
• Experience with stateful firewalls and network automation
• Strong software-engineering fundamentals in a general-purpose language
• Operational troubleshooting experience
• Clear communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with FortiGate or similar platforms
• Specialization in external connectivity
• Exposure to edge security and scale techniques
• Familiarity with telemetry and configuration-compliance tooling
• Experience with Go code or Kubernetes controllers

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing resilient connectivity for large-scale AI infrastructure
• Owning external BGP policy and traffic engineering
• Building API-driven automation for edge routing and firewalls
• Coordinating with carriers, cloud providers, and vendors
• Participating in on-call rotation and troubleshooting incidents
• Reviewing designs and code to improve network engineering quality
