Software Engineer, Corporate Systems Technology

Requirements

• Four or more years of professional software development (.NET preferred) experience building and supporting enterprise or business-critical applications
• Experience developing full-stack applications using modern server-side and front-end technologies
• Strong relational database development skills, including data modeling, query optimization, and debugging
• Experience building service-oriented applications, integrations, and secure interfaces between systems
• Experience with automated testing, code review, source control, and continuous delivery practices
• Working knowledge of cloud-based environments, distributed systems, and production application support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical and business issues
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards

What You'll Be Doing

• Build software applications, integrations with SaaS solutions, and deliver enhancements for projects supporting enterprise systems mainly HR, Payroll, Finance, and internal P72 teams
• Work closely with business stakeholders to develop software solutions using test-driven and agile software development methodologies
• Be responsible for system upgrades and features supporting resiliency and capacity improvements, automation and controls, and integration with internal and external vendors and services
• Contributing to architecture of core platforms and accelerating modernizing leveraging AI tools
• Work with DevOps teams to manage and resolve operational issues and leverage CI/CD platforms while following DevOps practices within the team and projects
• Continuously improve the platforms using the latest technologies and software development ideas
• Participate in initiatives to transition legacy applications to cloud platforms, enhancing stability, scalability and performance of the existing platform
• Develop close working relationships and collaborate with other technology teams to deliver cross-departmental initiatives
