Senior Software Engineer, Product

Requirements

• You have 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong backend foundation and a track record of building and operating high-scale production systems.
• You can write advanced SQL statements beyond basic SELECT and UPDATE statements.
• You’re proficient in React and have genuinely built on the frontend before. You’re comfortable owning UI work, not just backend APIs.
• You have solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals, and an understanding of HTTP and browser–server interactions
• You hold a high bar for quality and instinctively know which details matter, but also are discerning enough to cut scope when needed while still delivering value.
• You’re customer-obsessed: you imagine yourself as the developer, product manager, or marketer using the feature or experiencing the issue.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build, ship, and own end-to-end product features used by thousands of developers and hundreds of millions of end-users.
• Work across frontend, backend, and data boundaries, making thoughtful tradeoffs to deliver reliable, high-quality systems.
• Take ownership from problem definition through production rollout and long-term maintenance.
• Pair strong engineering fundamentals with good judgment, customer obsession, and a bias toward shipping.
