What you'll be doing

• Building and refining critical controls to protect customer accounts from account takeovers.
• Driving backend (80%) and frontend (20%) development for crime prevention and detection systems.
• Delivering tangible impact by securing customer funds, increasing automation, and supporting product growth.

Requirements

• Professional experience with Java or other JVM-based languages and the Spring framework.
• Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines, distributed and concurrent systems.
• A strong product mindset with accountability and ability to drive projects independently using data-driven decisions.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases including query optimization and resilient schema design.
• Commitment to code quality through Test Driven Development and best coding practices with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts across Product, Data Science, and Investigations teams.

Nice to haves

• Familiarity with the machine learning lifecycle including data pipelines, feature engineering, and deploying ML systems in production.
