What you'll be doing

• Building and refining critical controls to protect customer accounts from account takeovers.
• Driving backend (80%) and frontend (20%) development for crime prevention and detection systems.
• Delivering measurable impacts by securing customers' money, raising automation levels, and helping engineer a world-class money transfer product.

Requirements

• Professional experience with Java or other JVM-based languages, including the Spring framework.
• Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines, distributed, and concurrent systems.
• Strong product mindset with accountability and ability to drive projects independently using data-driven decisions.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including query optimization and designing resilient schemas.
• Exceptional fundamentals, problem-solving ability, and commitment to Test Driven Development and best coding practices.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts across teams.

Nice to haves

• Familiarity with the machine learning lifecycle, including data pipelines, feature engineering, and deploying ML systems into production.
