What you'll be doing

• Designing, developing, and maintaining the team’s services in a hands-on role.
• Mentoring and supporting a small team of engineers in their growth and development.
• Supporting the team in technical decisions to ensure a high quality, reliable, and scalable product.
• Working closely with a Product Manager to own and drive the team’s direction and product plans.
• Collaborating with teams across the company to deliver real impact and expand partner platform functionality.
• Owning the team’s services and product while pushing best practices and high quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java or similar technology stacks.
• Deep understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Product mindset focused on customer impact beyond technical implementation.
• Strong experience in designing and optimizing relational databases.
• Advocacy of best coding practices including continuous delivery and code reviews.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across teams and stakeholders.
