What you'll be doing

Design and build features end-to-end across pricing services.
Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews, improving quality, reliability, and observability.
Drive initiatives to enhance the reliability and scalability of pricing products and services.

Requirements

Strong background in software engineering with significant contributions to complex production projects.
Experience with Java or similar object-oriented programming languages.
Expertise in designing systems for long-term iteration and scalability.
Ownership of system availability, reliability, and security following engineering best practices.
Ability to balance speed, scalability, and risk to ensure predictable delivery cadence.
End-to-end ownership of technical roadmap and project deliverables.
Clear understanding of customer problems and expected impact of solutions.
Leadership in incident resolution and post-incident reviews.
Experience collaborating with product, compliance, and stakeholder teams to shape requirements.
Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to give and receive feedback and contribute to team growth.
Mentoring and onboarding of engineers.
Promoting a collaborative culture to minimize duplicate work and align teams.

Experience in payments, fintech, or related domains.
Experience working in global, distributed teams.
Exposure to compliance, audit, or regulatory environments (e.g., SOX, fee disclosure, tax).
Familiarity with configuration-heavy systems encoding business logic in both data and code.
