Senior Backend Engineer - Global Marts

Requirements

• Strong experience designing, building, and operating production backend systems
• Professional experience with Go, Kotlin, or another modern backend language
• Experience owning services end-to-end, including design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, reliability, and production operations
• Strong knowledge of backend and distributed systems fundamentals
• Comfortable working with data-heavy systems and technologies

Nice to Have

• Experience in forecasting, optimization, scheduling, recommendation, or decisioning systems
• Experience in grocery, retail, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse technology
• Experience in ERP, vendor management, procurement, or workforce management integrations
• Experience in replacing third-party or legacy platforms with internally built systems
• Experience in high-throughput event-driven or streaming architectures

• Design, build, and operate backend systems supporting inventory, purchasing, warehouse operations, pricing, and fulfillment
• Own technical solutions from problem definition to production operation
• Turn complex business problems into scalable technical solutions
• Influence architectural decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams
