Nice to Haves
Strong technical communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with non-technical domain experts.
Proven ability to build, structure, and grow a multi-pillar engineering organization, including leveling decisions for Senior ICs.
Experience partnering with business-unit leaders and executive stakeholders to translate ambiguous needs into engineering roadmaps.
Working fluency across developer tooling, CI/CD evaluation pipelines, and AI systems.
Experience mentoring Senior engineers toward technical leadership and preparing them for promotions to Staff or Principal levels.
Solid grasp of generative AI concepts including prompt engineering, function calling, structured outputs, and agentic specifications (e.g., MCP).
Ability to refactor complex domain scripts/documentation into modular, testable, production-ready code.
Experience writing unit/integration tests, mocking API dependencies, and debugging schema mismatches.

What You'll Be Doing
Manage technical leads and senior engineers across developer experience tooling, continuous evaluation infrastructure, and applied/field engineering pillars.
Set and enforce engineering standards for skill authoring, prompt architecture, API integration, and schema compliance.
Ensure Evaluation-Driven Development practices including benchmarking, LLM-as-a-Judge scoring, trajectory trace analysis, and CI/CD quality gates are applied before production.
Own escalation paths for production telemetry and drift analysis, managing failures and regressions through triage and feedback cycles.
Serve as primary contact for business-unit leaders and senior consultants regarding skill coverage, prioritization, and enablement, translating business needs into engineering commitments.
Recruit, develop, and retain technical leads and senior engineers, providing clear career growth paths from IC roles to leadership.
