Requirements

• Proven expertise in building production frontend applications using TypeScript and React.
• Solid backend knowledge, comfortable owning and operating Node.js services that support frontend infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of frontend build tools, bundlers, and module systems, and the ability to evolve them as the platform grows.
• Track record of diagnosing and resolving complex performance, reliability, or developer experience issues in large frontend codebases.
• Experience driving technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management skills: aligning priorities, managing expectations, and communicating trade-offs clearly with partner teams and leadership.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, platform-mindset approach to working with feature teams.
• Strong documentation skills, including experience writing RFCs or ADRs.

• Experience with micro-frontend architecture.
• Frontend platform engineering experience.
• Experience building shared component libraries used by many product teams.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and cloud infrastructure for frontend workloads.

What you'll be doing

• Owning the foundation: managing the runtime, build, deployment, and developer experience that 250+ micro-frontends and hundreds of engineers depend on daily.
• Evolving the micro-frontend architecture to improve composition, isolation, and shared dependency strategies for faster feature team delivery.
• Independently driving projects from idea to production by breaking down ambiguous problems into clear technical plans, estimating delivery, identifying risks early, and delivering high-quality solutions on time.
• Supporting engineering excellence by championing best practices, raising code quality standards, and implementing platform improvements based on lessons learned.
• Balancing short-term feature needs with long-term platform health, security, and maintainability.
• Building foundations for agentic development to enable AI agents to work autonomously on the platform, including agent instructions, reusable skills, tool integrations, guardrails, and automated checks for safe shipping of agent-authored changes.
• Working agent-first in day-to-day tasks by delegating implementation to agents and focusing judgment on direction, architecture, and outcome verification.
